Controls Engineer (5/1/11)

Job Summary

Provide electrical control system design and programming to develop turnkey solutions for various clients and applications.

Essential Functions
- Electrical controls systems / panel design
- PLC Programming
- HMI Programming
- Validate systems per specifications
- Coordinate startups
- Provide client support as required
- Provide end user training

Knowledge and Abilities
- Control system design
- PLC programming (AB, Siemens, Omron)
- HMI Programming (PanelViews, Wonderware, RSView, etc.)
- AutoCAD
- Industrial communication networks
- Experience in troubleshooting manufacturing equipment in a production environment
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Strong oral and written skills

Additional Considerations
- Machine Vision Experience
- Servo and Motion Control
- Project Management

Minimum Requirements
1. 4 year engineering or technical degree
2. 3+ years related experience
